What is the most frustrating thing about being a high school student?
- Being required to learn things that you absolutely KNOW you will never have to use in your adult life.
- Conversely, not being able to specialize and/or dig in deep to certain areas of interest but instead being required to take core requirements or things that will look good on a transcript for college admissions.
- The hours. Adolescence and early mornings are not a good match. I've always said high school should be from 12 - 6pm when teenagers are at their peak.
- Homework. I'm still not convinced homework does anything more than leave high school students anxiety-ridden and sleep deprived.
