Few things you have to know about being a skilled Hacker.
- There is NO syllabus for it, and learning what's in any said syllabus is not going to get you anywhere.
- It's can't be pursued by someone who is not really passionate about it.
- Top down approach won't work, ie: just learning to do a hack test on anything wont get you good, you need to first learn to set up the system that you are trying to hack into. eg: to learn how to hack apache first learn how to setup and use apache.
- Its a multi layer, multi branch field and you need to have wide knowledge to be on the edge.
- Your study is never going to finish because it will take years to master what is already known and what are going to come up.
